Uber Moto — "Vai que Vai"
EN
The first-ever Uber Moto brief in Brazil.
Uber was about to launch its motorcycle-taxi service in Brazil, and the strategic tension was immediate: the product was already generating buzz in the community, but it wasn't available everywhere yet. Talk too loud, and we'd create demand we couldn't fulfill. Stay quiet, and we'd waste a wave of organic curiosity already building on social.
I led the social strategy under a HUG–HUB–HELP–HERO framework: starting on Twitter, where we joined conversations already happening among riders who'd tried the service (HUG); moving curious newcomers to Instagram, a better space to go deeper (HUB); answering real questions with a light, funny tone before shifting into education (HELP); and finally driving awareness and driver acquisition through Reels and creator partnerships (HERO), under the campaign line "Vai que Vai."
Built into the plan from day one was a deliberate move to get ahead of a risk: position the brand clearly, open an honest line with the community, and avoid confusion or backlash in cities where the service wasn't live yet.
That risk wasn't hypothetical. Uber Moto took years to get regulatory approval across Brazil, and as of today, it still isn't available in São Paulo. The plan that anticipated exactly that tension in 2022 is, in hindsight, the part of the work I'm proudest of.

O primeiro briefing do Uber Moto no Brasil.
